ASPIRE - 2nd Annual Youth Summit
ASPIRE, which is a federally funded abstinence education grant program in Halifax County and Weldon City Schools, partnered with les atkins PR, Inc. to market their 2nd Annual Youth Summit. The campaign consisted of direct mail, radio, social, and email marketing. les atkins PR, Inc. also designed the program’s website: www.aspirenc.com
Roanoke Rapids Savings Bank - Money Market Account Campaign
les atkins PR, Inc. is the agency of record for Roanoke Rapids Savings Bank. This is a new campaign for the bank’s money market account savings program. It consists of radio and print ads encouraging customers and potential customers to consider saving money using the bank’s money market product line.

Chowan University Newspaper Campaign
Chowan University in Murfreesboro, NC contracted with les atkins PR, Inc. to improve enrollment in its Adult Degree Program.
The firm developed a strategic campaign that included radio, newspaper, and direct mail to reach those within a 50 mile radius of the university looking to complete their college degree.

ASPIRE encourages students to make wise choices in life. les atkins PR, Inc. was selected to provide marketing and public relations support for the program which is currently being taught in both Halifax County and Weldon City Schools. A radio campaign was used to promote parental support and posters were developed to raise awareness among students. The campaign has resulted in lower teen pregnancy rates within those school systems.

In an effort to encourage people to keep their local banks strong in the midst of the economic downturn, Roanoke Rapids Savings Bank worked with les atkins PR, Inc. to develop a 3 month newspaper & radio campaign to encourage its customer base to “get back to living”.
The campaign was developed to promote the bank’s strong financial stability as a community bank and reliable lending services.
